For all those dreaming of a white-cube Christmas, Miami Basel exceeded expectations with a four-day bacchanal of high art and stimulating conversation. Following the premiere day at the art fair, we donned our gay apparel and came together for an intimate dinner at Soho Beach House. Thirty guests gathered for a parlor-style conversation between New York magazine Senior Art Critic, Jerry Saltz and our featured artist from The Pleasure Issue, Marilyn Minter. After discussing everything from second wave feminism to cum shots, our guests retired to the salon for some Imperia caviar-topped oers-d’oevres, good-old-fashioned conversation and some good old-fashioneds (and Yola Mezcal cocktails).
