Birth-Control VictoryWashington, D. C.--The U. S. Supreme Court has ruled that state laws regulating contraceptives cannot discriminate against single persons. The decision struck down the Massachusetts law and voids the conviction of birth-control crusader William R. Baird, who was arrested for giving an unmarried coed a packet of vaginal foam during a lecture at Boston University in 1967. Baird's appeal was supported by the Playboy Foundation.
