Best Bets for Sunday Night Football: Atlanta Falcons at San Francisco 49ers

We’re capping off the Sunday slate of NFL Week 7 games with a Sunday Night Football matchup between the Atlanta Falcons and San Francisco 49ers. As the home team, the 49ers are favored by 2.5 points while the total is currently 47 points.

Aside from the Week 3 beatdown at the hands of the Panthers, the Falcons have either won or been competitive this season. Meanwhile, the 49ers have gone through a gauntlet of injuries, and that 4-2 record is basically being held together by a piece of cardboard and some scotch tape.

Below, I’ll take a look at a few of the key matchups from this game and even offer three of my best bets. You can take this information and apply it to prop bets or even fantasy football. What a beautiful world we live in! Let’s see what we got:

What are the Best Prop Bets for Sunday Night Football: Atlanta Falcons at San Francisco 49ers?

Falcons Moneyline (+110)

This line was initially scheduled to have the 49ers as decent favorites (-6.5), but now the Falcons are 2.5-point underdogs. I’m sure a lot of that has to do with coming off a primetime win against the Bills last week, and that’s alright – they earned it.

One of the other issues is that San Francisco is hella banged up. The latest injury came in last week’s loss, as LB Fred Warner (ankle) was carted off the field, and it was later revealed that he’ll be out for the season.

I love a lot of the individual matchups here for ATL, and I’ll be highlighting one here in a sec. The Falcons have won their two primetime games by a combined score of 46-20, and they’ll be ready to go tonight.

Bijan Robinson: Over 120.5 Rushing + Receiving Yards (-115)

We typically think of the 49ers as this stout defense that is elite, but that has not been the case – at least not this season. Before Robinson touches the field tonight, we have seen guys like Alvin Kamara (120 total yards), Travis Etienne (125), Kyren Williams (131), and the Bucs’ combo of Rachaad White/Sean Tucker (111) have plenty of success on this particular bet.

The MVP award usually goes to QBs, but Robinson is campaigning with a lot of credibility on his resume. Robinson has gone over this mark of 120.5 four times in five games, and the one misnomer was 111. In the last two games, Robinson has gone berserk with 419 total yards, highlighted by a career-high 238 against the Bills last week.

Christian McCaffrey: Under 60.5 Rushing Yards (-115)

Hey, the RB on the other side of the field can have some success too, but it won’t be running the football. McCaffrey has basically been hovering around this mark all season, but since the opener (69 rush yds), he has failed to reach 60+ rushing yards.

The Falcons have been a little more generous to opposing RBs on the ground in recent weeks, but I can see the 49ers abandoning the run altogether, leaving the chunk of McCaffrey’s yards coming through the air. Atlanta is seeing the second-fewest RB carries per game (18.4) this season.
