The NBA Cup is back, and here we come with the best bets for Friday’s games on Nov. 14. Each team is out to prove they’ve got what it takes to win the NBA Cup, and you have to love these games with the wacky courts. It seems like they’re playing on another planet, and who doesn’t love some full-on macular degeneration on a Friday night?
Alright, might have been a little dramatic, but make sure you got the Ray-Bans on tonight.
These NBA Cup games are packed with storylines, superstar showdowns, and a whole lot of value in particular spots. We’ve even got two games where the teams don’t play again until Monday, so it’s all-systems-go for them!
In this article, I’ll provide the best bets from three games tonight: the Miami Heat at New York Knicks, the Philadelphia 76ers at Detroit Pistons, and the Golden State Warriors at San Antonio Spurs. Let’s dive and see what type of magic we come up with!
Best Bets for NBA Cup Games on Friday, Nov. 14, 2025
Miami Heat at New York Knicks (7 pm ET)
Pick: Karl-Anthony Towns – Over 11.5 Rebounds (-130)
The Heat own the NBA’s fifth-worst rebounding rate, so Towns should be able to feast once again in this matchup. Back on Oct. 25, KAT hauled down a season-high 18 rebounds, which was six better than his 12.6 RPG average. Funny enough, Miami has now given up 18 rebounds to three different centers this season, and a 15-spot added in by Nikola Jokic.
Towns has grabbed 10+ rebounds in every game this season, so I do not doubt that he’ll be somewhere in the territory of tonight’s mark. Also helping our case is after this game, both teams have the next two days off before their next game, which will be against each other in Miami.
With the injury to Jalen Brunson, we can probably expect more rebounding opportunities from missed shots. KAT becomes the #1 option in the Knicks offense, so extra playing time (with the next two days off) really helps us in this spot. It’s also worth noting, Miami runs the NBA’s fastest tempo, so more possessions could equate to more rebounding opportunities.
Philadelphia 76ers at Detroit Pistons (7:30 pm ET)
Pick: 2-Leg SGP (+210): Tyrese Maxey: Over 37.5 Points + Assists & Cade Cunningham: Over 38.5 Points + Assists
Similar to the Heat-Knicks matchup, both teams have the next two days before they play again on Monday. That is great news for the prop bets because we know the best players will be out there on the court, and it gives us every opportunity to cash in.
Speaking of the best players, I’m looking squarely at the two point guards – Maxey and Cunningham – for this 2-legger. These two teams just played on Sunday, and it was the Pistons getting the 111-108 win. Both PGs were great, as Cunningham finished with 26 points and 11 assists, while Maxey outscored him with 33 points but only seven helpers.
It’s good that we have a recent game to go off, and it does help the competitive back-and-forth nature; these guys just battled all out against each other, so you know they’re hungry for the rematch. Look for each guy to one-up the other, and that’s certainly great for our bottom line.
Golden State Warriors at San Antonio Spurs (9:30 pm ET)
Pick: 2-Leg SGP (+230): Spurs ML + Under 235
Lots of familiarity going on in this article, as the Warriors and Spurs just faced each other on Wednesday night – Golden State got the close 125-120 win. But I believe this familiarity will truly guide us to victory.
We have seen this scenario play out plenty of times, where two teams faced each other in consecutive games. The team that loses the first game typically comes out with more vigor the second time around. We also see the total go under more often than not, considering defenses are more familiar with the opposition’s offensive sets.
As for the matchup itself, the Warriors will be playing their third game in four days, so I expect them to go through the motions at times tonight. Before that game, the Warriors had lost three of four, while the Spurs had won three straight. Let’s look for the numbers to come back to the mean and pick up this plus-money win tonight.
